Introduced by Naveen Krishnan, Curatorial Assistant, Modern & Contemporary Art, MFAH.

Renowned for her sleek Art Deco paintings, Tamara de Lempicka took Paris, Milan, Berlin, and New York by storm in the 1920s. A century later, the story of her life can be told, tracing her flight from persecution, her affairs with men and women, and her hidden Jewish heritage. This fascinating new documentary, narrated by Anjelica Huston, complements the exhibition Tamara de Lempicka, on view at the Museum from March 9–May 26, 2025.

Tickets

  • $9 general admission; $7 MFAH members, students with ID, seniors (65+)
