Houston faith leaders from different spiritual traditions speak with audiences in the exhibition galleries about their connections with objects and themes in Living with the Gods: Art, Beliefs, and Peoples.
The theme for this gallery conversation is “Divine Fire: Zoroastrianism and Ritual Purity.” The discussion is led by Vehishta Kaikobad, Zoroastrian Association of Houston and an MFAH docent.

About the Speaker
Vehishta Kaikobad has been an educator for 25 years, working in early childhood education based on the Montessori method. She graduated from the University of Karachi with a B.A. in philosophy, psychology, and political science, and obtained her Montessori diploma from St. Nicholas College in England. Kaikobad has been a senior docent with the MFAH for 10 years. Additionally, she has served as a Sunday school teacher at the Zoroastrian Association of Houston and as a docent at Asia Society Texas Center.
“Living with the Gods: Art, Beliefs, and Peoples” is organized by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and supported by a grant from Lilly Endowment Inc.
