Fall Festival “Myths and Leyendas”
Entrance to the festival opens at 12:30 p.m. and the activities begin at 1 p.m. The Museum is open from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Looking for something? Now in its third year, the fall festival again features new, temporary large-scale sculptures by six Houston Latinx artists. Visitors can explore the galleries to see works of art represented in the lotería game plus all of the art on view, which spans 5,000 years and six continents.

Calaveras Mexicanas: The Art and Influence of José Guadalupe Posada
Find at least six of the calaveras and collect a prize at the KFEC! This exhibition is organized by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. After his death, Posada's calaveras became the imagery most associated with Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a holiday on November 1 and 2 in Mexico, and around the world, that celebrates loved ones who have died.
