In addition to jobs such as educators, adminstrators, and art handlers, a surprising number of MFAH staff members create their own art. This exhibition features work in an array of media and styles by more than 70 artists. On view in the Beck Building from June 13 to June 27, the MFAH Staff Art Show is included with general admission. This exhibition is organized by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.

  8. Constructed Dialogues: Concrete, Geometric, and Kinetic Art from the Latin American Art Collection

    This exhibition, drawn from the museum's Latin American art collection, highlights several key avant-garde movements engaged in the production of Concrete, Geometric, and Kinetic art. Over the last decade, the MFAH has developed one of the strongest collections of Abstract Constructive art from Latin America. Constructed Dialogues brings together recent MFAH acquisitions, works from the Adolpho Leirner Collection of Brazilian Constructive Art, and selections from the museum’s extensive Gego holdings.
