  3. Through the Lens of Black Women: Beauty and Expectations

    -- Begin Grid Row --> The film series “Through the Lens of Black Women: Beauty and Expectations” runs February 24, 2024. Autumn Johnson, University of Houston graduate and former intern with the MFAH film department, guest programs a weekend of classic and contemporary films that consider the experiences of Black women. She received a bachelor of arts degree in media production and English literature from the University of Houston in 2022.

  4. Korean Film Nights

    The Three Colors trilogy—the final opus of groundbreaking filmmaker Krzysztof Kieślowski (1941–1996)—comes to the MFAH in a digitally restored edition.
