Orangey reds, golden yellows, velvety browns are hard to come by in Houston’s eternal summer, but a visit to the Arts of China gallery can satisfy the need to admire some fall colors. As fall approaches with colder weather, and leaves begin to change color, I imagine many us will want to wrap up in our own quilts at home.

Our audience is 90 percent local, and our community depends on us. Discover the art of giving, meet some of the individuals who make our institution unique, and ignite your imagination with our short films. More than 30 percent of our visitors enter the Museum for free. We provide art education to more than 100,000 visitors and students each year, whether on-site or through our community programs and online learning.
