Mexican Modernism: The Golden Age of Mexican Cinema


Mexico’s film industry blossomed in the 1940s and 1950s, a period known as the “Golden Age of Mexican Cinema.” This series, which features comedies, melodramas, film noir, and more, complements the exhibition Paint the Revolution: Mexican Modernism, 1910–1950.
