The drama Terrestrial Verses follows everyday people as they navigate the cultural, religious, and institutional constraints imposed on them by various social authorities in Tehran. These stirring vignettes capture the spirit of people amidst adversity, offering a nuanced portrait of a complex society.

The screening is followed by a Q&A via Zoom with filmmaker Alireza Khatami.
