February 2023 | Highlights of American Art from the Sarofim Collection
MFAH members are invited to explore the Museum’s art collections and exhibitions on special Saturday tours. Topics change monthly.
In February, join a docent on a tour featuring highlights of the long-term loan of American art from the Sarofim Foundation. Masterworks from the distinguished collection of late Houston philanthropist Fayez S. Sarofim have been placed on extended loan to the Museum in a collaboration between the MFAH and the foundation. Sarofim, who died in May 2022, assembled one of the most significant collections of American art in private hands.
