MFAH members are invited to explore the Museum’s art collections and exhibitions on special Saturday tours. Topics change monthly.
In March, join a docent on a tour exploring remarkable works of art showcasing the timeless craft of Norwegian silversmiths and goldsmiths. Crowning the North: Silver Treasures from Bergen, Norway features some 200 objects—from spoons, tankards, and sugar bowls to elaborate ceremonial wedding crowns and fantastical vessels. Come learn more about the surprising global connections within these objects, all traveling to the United States for the first time and on exclusive loan to the MFAH.
