Opening Day Lecture “Impressionist and Post-Impressionist Masterpieces from the Pearlman Foundation”

May 21, 2023

Ann Dumas, consulting curator for European art, offers an overview of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist Masterpieces from the Pearlman Foundation. The exhibition showcases signature paintings and sculptures from the collection of the Henry and Rose Pearlman Foundation.

The Pearlman Collection was assembled by Henry Pearlman (1895–1974), who was born and raised in New York City, the son of Russian immigrant parents. He loved the thrill of the hunt and uncovering hidden masterworks, learning about the social bonds among artists and the aesthetic influences they had on one another.
