Florescence | “Splendor”

Florescence is a biennial flower and horticulture show presented by the River Oaks Garden Club, The Garden Club of Houston, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. It is one of the largest competitive national flower shows in the United States sanctioned by The Garden Club of America. The public exhibition at the MFAH features floral and horticultural arrangements from garden club experts and prominent floral and garden designers interpreting masterpieces in the Museum’s art collections.
- Floral arrangements are on view in the Beck and Kinder Buildings on April 15 & 16.
- On Tuesday, April 15, the Museum is open to the public from 12 noon to 6 p.m. The Kinder Building is partially open for this event. The open area includes the lower-level Arrival Hall and street-level atrium. The Law Building is closed.
- On Wednesday, April 16, the Museum is open regular hours, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
