POSTPONED | The Fabulous Nicholas Brothers

Please stay tuned for the new date!

This presentation celebrates two of the 20th century’s greatest dancers: Fayard Nicholas (1914–2006) and Harold Nicholas (1921–2000). The self-taught African American brothers were still kids when they headlined at Harlem’s famed Cotton Club, later conquering Broadway and Hollywood. Through rare archival materials and excerpts from an award-winning documentary he produced, film scholar Bruce Goldstein offers a revealing look at the lives and careers of the Nicholas Brothers.

Scheduled guests include film scholar Bruce Goldstein; Fayard Nicholas’s son and granddaughter, Tony Nicholas and Nicole Nicholas; and Houston-based performing artist Alde Lewis, founder of A.L. Efficacy Movement, Inc.
