Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman
For Mature Audiences
A giant talking frog and an elusive cat help a listless bank employee, his traumatized wife, and a lonely accountant seek meaning in their lives, and possibly save Tokyo from catastrophe. This award-winning animated feature is based on stories by acclaimed Japanese author Haruki Murakami (Drive My Car).
Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman also marks the feature debut of composer Pierre Földes and uses an innovative live-action 3D motion-capture process that explores the memories, dreams, and visions of the characters as they rediscover their true selves.
