“At the Vanguard of Collecting and Curating”
MFAH members at the Benefactor level, and members of the Leadership Circle, are invited to this exclusive look at the Museum’s ongoing work to collect and curate works of Latin American art. Mari Carmen Ramírez speaks about her leadership role in the dynamic expansion of the collection over the last two decades as well as exciting recent acquisitions. Ramírez is the Wortham Curator of Latin American Art and director of the International Center for the Arts of the Americas (ICAA). (Rescheduled from January)
