Virtual Camp at Bayou Bend: Final Week of Fun with Art & History July 17, 2020

Summer is going by quickly, but there’s still time for camp! Reserve your spot today for the final week of Virtual Camp at Bayou Bend, July 27–31. At-home campers can enjoy adventures in art, history, and gardening, presented for free by Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens, the MFAH house museum for American decorative arts. Recommended for ages 9 to 12.

#MFAHatHome
Bayou Bend’s vast collection of early Americana serves up a week of virtual summer camp curriculum for young artists, historians, and scholars at home. Tune in each day for art-making and virtual workshops led by local guest artisans, such as a pottery class with teaching artist Deanna Santiago, needlework techniques with historical interpreter Susan Kelm, exploring the roots of American music with musician Joseph Dixon, and more.
