Because of the support of our friends, the museum is able to protect and conserve the many beautiful and irreplaceable works of art in our collection, acquire new artworks, present groundbreaking traveling exhibitions, and offer the wide range of programs that truly make the MFAH a place for all people.

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, is grateful to receive major support for museum operations from the City of Houston, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, Texas Commission on the Arts, Houston Arts Alliance, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston respects the privacy and personal
information of its members. The MFAH has adopted a policy of not sharing
with third parties any financial information you provide when purchasing a
membership or making a donation except (1) to the extent required by law,
(2) to acknowledge your donation in our publications and (3) to share the
names and addresses of its members with other non-profit organizations for
the purposes of ticket sales, event promotion, or fund-raising. If you
prefer not to have your donation acknowledged in our publications or not to
have any of your information shared with other non-profit organizations,
