One of the favorites from this year´s Latin Wave, the international award-winning Alamar tells the story of five-year-old Natan, whose Italian mother and Mexican father have decided to separate; Natan will return with his mother to live in Italy. Before leaving Mexico he will stay with his father and learn the ways of the fishermen. The Banco Chinchorro, which contains the largest coral reef extension in Mexico, is the film´s main setting and provides a fascinating world as seen through the eyes of a child.

This film is part of the Back by Popular Demand! film series.
