Saturday Members Tour | “Vertigo of Color: Matisse, Derain, and the Origins of Fauvism”

May 2024
MFAH members are invited to explore the Museum on special Saturday tours. Topics change monthly.

In May, join a docent for a closer look at the wildly colorful canvases of Henri Matisse and André Derain in Vertigo of Color: Matisse, Derain, and the Origins of Fauvism. The exhibition traces the beginnings of the major Modernist movement of Fauvism and the relationship that changed the course of French painting.
